Jon McKinney
President & Portfolio Manager
ZLC Wealth
As President and Portfolio Manager, Jon holds overall responsibility for client relations, business development and Administration. He brings with him nearly 30 years of financial sector experience in both portfolio management and accounting.
Jon is well versed in independent investment management having previously represented Duncan Ross Associates as President, overseeing all aspects of the operations from compliance and administration to client services and portfolio management.
Jon completed his Bachelor of Commerce Degree at the University of British Columbia and holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) and Chartered Accountant Designations.
Jon is an avid mountain and road biker and is a member of the Capilano Golf Club. He is married and has three adult children all living in the Vancouver area.

Andrew is EdgePoint’s secret weapon. Name the sport, he’s an all-star in it. This includes incredible prowess in ping pong. Before joining EdgePoint, “Grandmaster” Andrew – yes, he’s an expert at chess too – was an equity research analyst at Sionna Investment Managers from 2010 to 2012. Previously, he spent four years at BMO Harris Investment Management working with high-net-worth clients. Andrew has a BA in Finance and Economics from the University of Western Ontario and is a CFA charterholder.
EdgePoint is lucky enough to have him as a portfolio manager focusing on equity research, another area he excels in. What isn’t Andrew good at? From EdgePoint’s standpoint, keeping a clean desk is his only shortcoming and notwithstanding his athleticism, he seems to have an aversion to plain ol’ walking.
